Overview

These Terms apply to your use of the WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL Website. By signing-up or using any WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL Online Courses Services, including all associated features and functionalities, as well as all digital content and software applications associated with our services, you are entering into a binding contract with WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL.

If you do not accept these Terms, you may not use our Website, our Online Courses Services or access any classes.

Bookings

Bookings can be made on our Website by selecting a Course and making payment of the Total Fees.

Total Fees for a Course must be received in full at least 24 hours before the start date.

When you make a booking with us we will need to confirm it with you for it to be valid.

All fees must be paid in Pound Sterling (GBP). We reserve the right to refuse any method of payment at any time for any reason.

Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations must be made by email and take effect from the date we receive such notice. If a cancellation request is received outside normal working hours, the notice period will be counted from the next working day.

Fees and/or Courses are not transferable to other students.

Booking fees, Course fees and any other administrative fee are non-refundable.

Courses

• The Tutor/Teacher reserves the right to cancel a lesson if the student is not the appropriate age or does not have the relevant consent, engage in any offensive, aggressive, or inappropriate language, behavior, or attire.

• If you decide to change your Booking by switching to another Course, Course Time, defer the start of your course, you must provide at least seven (7) days’ notice of such a change to WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL in writing via email, otherwise, you will be expected to attend the course originally booked.

• Online classes may be recorded for educational purposes. By booking any of our courses, you agree that WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL may record and process a video of your class (including your image and/or voice) and use it for promotional purposes or make it available to other students, subject to WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

• Using the camera during the lessons is not compulsory – each Tutor decides how to conduct his or her class.

• A Private Lesson of 60 minutes will begin only if you connect to the Zoom call within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled time. Failure to connect within the above times will result in a cancellation of the class (the Fees are non-refundable).

Intellectual Property

WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL is the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Content and in the design, structure, “look and feel” and the arrangement of the WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL Online Course Service. We grant you limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to make use of the WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL Online Course Service for the purposes of your study and research, and limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to make personal, non-commercial use of the Content for the purposes of your study and research (collectively, “Access”). This Access shall remain in effect until and unless this Contract is cancelled by you or WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL.

You agree that you are using WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL Online Courses and Content for your own personal, non-commercial use and that you will not redistribute or transfer the WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL Online Course Service or the Content.

You must not use the Content or material contained in the WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL Online Course Service for any other purpose without our prior written approval, including:

(a) for commercial purposes;

(b) republishing any of the Content on another Website;

(c) modifying the Content in any way;

(d) using any illustrations, images, video or audio sequences or any graphics within WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL Content separately from any accompanying text; and

(e) removing any trademark, copyright or other proprietary notices contained in or appearing on any WOMBAT ENGLISH SCHOOL Online Course Service product or any of the Content in whole or in part.
